Career Education Open House Recap

On March 21, the Friends of Chabot had the honor of partnering with Chabot’s Career Education programs to host the second-ever Chabot College Career Education (CE) Open House.

Thank you to the 200 community members who joined us for an inspiring day on campus. From hands-on demonstrations and lab tours to career insights, delicious food, and festive jazz music, the event was filled with energy and engagement. Thank you to everyone who attended and made this day possible.

The 2024-25 Chabot-Las Positas Community College District’s Annual Report is now available, celebrating a year with over 6,000 degrees and certificates awarded - the 
highest total in the District's history. The report highlights the District's collective impact on the East Bay region, including $801 million in economic impact and success stories of the District's 30,000+ students.

Earth Week Art Exhibition

Chabot College invites the community to experience the creative talents of its students and staff at the upcoming Earth Week Art Exhibition, a free event open to the public.

Curated by students from the Art 45 course, this show features artwork that is related to the earth, nature, environment, reduce, reuse, recycle, or issues surrounding the preservation of the earth.

View the work in the Chabot Art Gallery (building 1000), Room 1002, on April 18 - April 22, from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.

An opening reception will take place April 20, 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.
